There is nothing in human-form, that bears a heart as vile and petrifying as a traitor’s. He that befriends a traitor, is lost to truth and loyalty emblematic of unwavering comradeship. He is forever subjected to the studied sly and ensnaring wile of his treacherous friend. And none other but Governor Akinwunmi Ambode understands this sad fact.

The embattled factional Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State Mr Fouad Oki has made a shocking revelation during an interview by popular Presenter Jimi Disu on Morning Digest, a programme on Lagos Talks 91.fm.

Mr Oki claimed that Osun State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and Hon. Bayo Oshinowo aka Pepper of the Lagos State House of Assembly are plotting to ensure that Lagos State Governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode does not get a second term.

He stated that the two men came to him to discuss the plot and challenged them to come out publicly to state their own sides of the story.

Mr Oki noted that the men’s grouse was that Mr Ambode was having some issues with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and since Tinubu is their godfather, they have taken it upon themselves to thwart Ambode’ second term ambition.

Mr Oki who called Asiwaju Bola Tinubu many unprintable names including a bigot, noted that the era of impunity and imposition was almost over in Lagos APC

He stated that as a grassroots man he had a formidable team backing him against the party bigwigs who do not want to enthrone internal democracy in the APC.

He revealed that his group had gone to court to seek an interpretations of the constitution and the party’s byelaws concerning holding primaries in 57 LGs and LCDAs instead of 20 LGAs only.

He said his battle with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is a fight to to finish, adding that though he is a cousin of both Dr Muiz Banire, SAN and Babatunde Fashola, SAN, they were not part of his group.

Asked if he had any axe to grind with Governor Ambode, he described two instances were he met the Governor in recent times, noting that their relationship was cordial.

He threatened that if the matter was not settled in good time, APC may not field a candidate in the 2019 Gubernatorial election. -BossNewspaper
