JUST IN: Police Arrest Three Suspected Abductors Of Bethel Baptist School Students

The police have arrested three suspects involved in the kidnap of the 126 students of Bethel Baptist School, Kaduna.

The suspects, dressed in military uniform were paraded by the Police Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba on Thursday.

The suspects, Adamu Bello, Isiaku Lawal and Muazu Abubakar who confessed to the crime, revealed that 25 of them abducted the students.

Abubakar disclosed that they kidnapped 136 students, adding that he got N100,000 share from the ransom paid.

Meanwhile, Mba said the three suspects played key roles in the kidnap, adding that the police had generated enough intelligence to ensure the arrest of other members of the gang.

Some of the 47 other suspects were arrested for various offences including murder, kidnapping, cattle rustling, armed robbery and car theft.
