Plans have been concluded by Oyo State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to host a programme tagged, “APC Youth Connect.”
The programme, which is also called “Next Level Dance Party”, has been slated for Friday, February 1, 2019, at the Agodi Gardens, Ibadan.
According to the spokesperson of the Oyo 2019 APC Campaign Organisation, AbdulAzeez Olatunde, the programme was organized in order to serve as a platform for the youths to interact with APC candidates in the state.
Olatunde said the programme would hold between 4pm and 10pm, stressing that maximum security was guaranteed.
He noted that the specially designed youth interactive and entertainment programme is to create a relaxed atmosphere for a rapport between APC candidates and youths in the state, stating that only those dressed in a touch of APC colours and branding will be allowed access into the venue.
Olatunde said there would be many side attractions at the programme, adding that, there were also free gifts for the first 100 guests.
He explained that APC considered the youths as integral stakeholders in the development of the state and the country at large, adding that the APC led government in the state would not relent in its youth oriented programmes.
