It was an awesome gathering of execellent minds on the beautiful evening of Saturday, April 6, when city lawyer, Tokunbo ‘TW’ Wahab hosted members of the Buhari Integrity Group, BIG, a political group consisting of top Nigerian professionals, to a lavish victory celebration in his sprawling, beautiful Banana Island, Lagos home.
The BIG is a selfless patriotic support group which campaigned for the continuation of the good governance of the Buhari Administration and will continue to support great and progressive policies and direction of the administration while proffering solutions to some of the challenges facing the administration.
Prince Adeyemi Aseperi and Mr. Sola Fajobi, the co-conveners of the group said the celebration was necessitated by the fact that their candidate, President Buhari won the February 23 elections despite all the campaign of calumny, propaganda, monetisation and fake news deployed by the leading opposition candidate.
This is by no means, they said, a small effort as the other side had access to money while BIG as a group executed their campaigns with contributions from members’ personal pockets.
And they couldn’t be too proud of their efforts and given themselves some accolades and treats. And the host, TW really knows how to make good times happen as he ensured that everything was sufficient and everyone had fun. The famous lawyer and other BIG members of the group toasted the February 23 victory of President Buhari with a swimming pool side lavish party featuring various fancy foods, feel good music by a live band, choice cognac, flowing champagne and an impressive array of other top Nigerians in attendance.
