Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki on Tuesday officially resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The governor made his decision known after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Thelagostimes recalls that Obaseki was disqualified by the screening committee of the APC last Friday.

His disqualification was said to be due to discrepancies in his results.
