The year 2021 has just begun and folks are filling it up with their many expectations. In a different corner, some of the most fortunate of 2020 are having the table flipped on them. Africa’s most reputed moneybag, Aliko Dangote, is at the head of this latter group.
The reputation of billionaire businessman and mega investor, Aliko Dangote, is currently taking a pounding. The latest hammer to his public face includes a video clip that has gone viral, in which Dangote’s buttocks are clearly exposed. Because the viral video does not appear to be the result of a lover’s spat, folks are perplexed as to why Dangote’s alleged mistress (apparently named Courtney) would expose him so. Fortunately for concerned media folks, another recent upload lends some context.
Earlier on, an American restaurateur named Bea Lewis posted a picture of herself and Dangote, claiming that she had “dated the richest black man in the world…” and he had broken her heart “in 1000 pieces.” Although her heart-hammering opening invited further enquiries, Lewis’ went on to show that Dangote has significantly impacted her life and upgraded her mentality in so many positive ways.
However, intentionally or not, she had just thrown her benefactor under the bus.
Thus, maybe the video of Dangote’s caboose that was uploaded for public viewing, courtesy of ‘Courtney’, is supposed to be another accolade and appreciation of the Cement man’s godfatherism? That is unknown. What is known is what the video shows: Dangote and said lady cruising in what appears to be a luxury yacht, with the former’s posterior snugly exposed under an orange towel.
According to folks, Dangote has been married four times, with every one of them supposedly ending in divorce or some other form of separation. Until recently, therefore, it was widely assumed that the wealthiest African man was also the most eligible bachelor on the African continent. Apparently not, if Miss Courtney’s post is to be believed.
In any case, Dangote is not the only one on edge; countless Nigerian billionaires have also had their private businesses exposed on account of a mistress or two.
There is some lesson to be learnt here: an orange towel cannot hide much, not with cameras and agendas everywhere.
