BREAKING: Peter Obi Emerges Labour Party Presidential Candidate

Former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, has emerged the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.

Thelagostimes gathered that Obi emerged winner during the Party’s Convention and presidential primary held in Asaba, Delta State.

Earlier at the convention, Professor Pat Utomi, who was also the party’s presidential aspirant, stepped down for Obi, making the latter the sole contestant

Thelagostimes gathered that two other aspirants had earlier stepped down for Obi. They are: Olubusola Emmanuel-Tella, and Faduri Joseph.

Obi was a presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party before resigning and withdrawing his presidential ambition from the party on May 25.
