Nigeria’s president Muhammadu Buhari is currently holding a closed door meeting with governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Thelagostimes gathered that the meeting which started at about 3pm is taking place at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The meeting has in attendance Governors of Yobe, Ekiti, Ebonyi, Jigawa, Kaduna, Lagos, Borno, Niger, Gombe, Osun, Kebbi, Nasarawa, Kwara, Kano, Imo, Kogi, Ogun and Plateau States.
There are assumptions that the crucial meeting with the President is connected with the postponement of the party’s national convention, as well as the controversy over the zoning of National Working Committee (NWC) offices.
