Lawyer and former spokesman for ex president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to sanction Nigeria’s president Mohammadu Buhari.
In a tweet via his verified twitter handle, Omokri asked the INEC to sanction president Buhari for checking his wife’s ballot during the presidential and senatorial elections held yesterday.
“Dear @INECNigeria, It is illegal for anybody, no matter how highly placed, to check another person’s ballot. The Electoral Act provides for a secret ballot. An individual named @MBuhari was caught on video/camera violating this.

TheLagostimes had earlier reported that president Buhari, after casting his vote, checked to see who his wife voted for.
Mrs Buhari got cleared to vote before her husband but Buhari was seen looking at her ballot before he proceeded into the booth to cast his ballot.
