News emerging has it that Lagos State governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode might be impeached any moment from now.
Thelagostimes gathered that members of the Lagos State House of Assembly are in the heat of the process while sitting in a plenary.
Although details of the proposed impeachment remain sketchy at the time of filling this report but it was gathered that it might not be unconnected to Ambode’s failure to present the 2019 budget appropriation to the state Assembly.
The Assembly also alleged that the governor was spending money which had not been appropriated by the legislative arm of government.
There is palpable tension right now in the state as stakeholders who are conversant with the ongoing development await the outcome of the meeting.
