Anxiety As Zenith Bank’s Network Becomes Inaccesible To Customers Nationwide

As the new working week commenced today, customers of Zenith bank experienced frustration and anxiety as the bank’s online and offline services couldn’t be accessed.

TheLagostimes gathered that the network outage which seems to have affected most of the bank’s branches nationwide has hampered some business activities as customers could not make transfers and withdrawals.

The social media scene was not left out in the pour of grievances as customers took to micro blogging site, Twitter to lodge their complaints.

“Zenith Bank is the most useless bank in the world,if my transfers are not made in the next hour I will enter the branch with a gun and kill the first bank staff I see”, an aggrieved twitter user wrote.

“We are still here o over 2 hours later, no solution @ZenithBank”, another twitter user wrote.

Meanwhile, at the time of this report, there was no official statement from the back as to why their network services couldn’t be accessed.

However, the bank, via its verified twitter handle disclosed that the Founder/Chairman of Zenith Bank Plc, Mr. Jim Ovia, alongside the Chairman of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote were at the launch of the KPMG Nigeria Insight Centre at the KPMG Tower, Victoria Island, Lagos earlier today.
