Curses rain from Pastors Adeboye, Taiwo Odukoya

Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God has placed a curse on anyone who seeks to sabotage the building of the N35billion Heaven-on-Earth auditorium at the Redemption City, while Taiwo Odukoya, General Overseer of The Fountain of Life Church, has announced that whoever wanted to contribute to the church auditorium project should deal with him directly, and not with any other pastor or church member.

These two highly respectable shepherds have been reaching deep into the spiritual realm to condemn the many acts of corruption by their sheep (in wolf’s clothing), who have been sabotaging their efforts to erect auditoria for their churches.

In the case of Pastor Adeboye, he is reported to have been facing serious challenges of corruption from the top echelon of the RCCG pastorate. Some of the pastors have been frustrating contractors to whom church projects were awarded, by demanding bribes from the contractors. One notably reported case from the RCCG fold was that of a building project in one of its parishes in Yaba where the contractor was prevented from working on the site because he refused to give ‘10 per cent’ to members of the church’s building project committee. Adeboye had to intervene to get the work done. He reportedly took punitive measures against the bad eggs and placed curse on anyone who takes pleasure in tarnishing the name of the church.

Knowing he could face same ordeal in the hand of the unscrupulous elements in the pastorate, he placed a fresh curse on anyone who would undermine his efforts at erecting the N35 billion first of its kind building project. He is reported to have taken over the supervision of the building project himself, as reports of kickback taking and contract inflations have been flying high in the church.

According to a report, the whole project which will include a staggering 1.5 million seating capacity to serve as the main auditorium, a 100,000 seating capacity youth auditorium, 10 standard cafeterias, 10 shopping arcades, ushers dormitories, banks, e-payment centres and parking spaces that will contain about 90,000 cars will all be built on 90 acres of land at Simawa area of Ogun State.

This project, contracted to a Chinese firm, is expected to be completed by the end of August, as the Pastor Adeboye wants it ready for the 62nd Annual Convention of the church in December. According to the report, the construction materials for the auditorium will be brought into the country where they will be assembled.

Pastor Taiwo Odukoya and the Fountain of Life Church have been building the church 6000-capacity auditorium for years. The readiness of the auditorium has been a yearly recurring promise on the lips of the man of God. The project is itching closer to completion but in a pace whose speed can only be compared with a snail.

According to an account given by a member (worker) of the church, the pastor, after a thorough audit was carried out, pointedly told members of the building committee that the church had raised more than the estimated cost of the auditorium, that it angered him that works on the site have been unnecessarily delayed. He made it clear that he was aware of the despicable underhand dealings of some members and that he has committed their case to God’s hand. He warned them to desist from stealing from church, else they would soon incur God’s wrath. He went on to announce in church that any Good Samaritan who wanted to contribute to the building project should deal with him directly.

Hopefully, the auditorium will be ready for launch in June this according if reports gathered by TLT is anything to by.
