JUST IN: Rivers Records First Case As Coronavirus Toll Rises To 51

The National Centre for Disease Control on Wednesday disclosed that five new persons have tested positive for the novel Coronavrus.

The agency disclosed this on his official twitter age. This brings the total number of coronavirus cases in Nigeria to 51.

The agency disclosed that one of the five fresh cases is in Rivers as the state records it first while two are in Abuja with Lagos,who has recorded the highest cases of patient with the infection harbouring the other two.

LagosTimes understands that 3 of the five cases are returning travellers while the other two are close of a reported case.

However, of the 51 cases two are have been discharged after they are certified free of the infection, one is dead while 48 are being treated of the disease.
