Basiru disclosed that he self-isolated after his return from the United Kingdom, one of the countries on Nigeria’s travel ban list.

Rafiu Isamotu, the state commissioner for health, announced on Wednesday that the judges also took precaution following their return from an international conference in Dubai, United Arab Emirates between March 9 and March 13.

The commissioner said since the judges returned from UAE, they had isolated themselves at their various homes as part of precautionary measures to stop the spread of the virus.

Isamotu said at present, the judges have not shown any symptoms, adding that the government was keeping a close eye on them.
